Three arrested for drug possession
On February 2nd 2025 Saugeen Shores Police responded to a report of a possible impaired driver in the Town of Southampton.
Police located the vehicle at a local gas station and approached to speak with the occupants. The driver of the vehicle refused to identify himself to police and was placed under arrest.
Through continuation of the investigation two passengers were also placed under arrest.
A quantity of Cocaine was located within the vehicle.
As a result of this investigation the following people are charged:
A 38-year-old of Port Elgin has been charged with:
- Poss of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Driving while under suspension
A 35-year-old of Listowel has been charged with:
- Poss of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking
A 31-year-old of Brampton has been charged with:
- Poss of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Poss of Property obtained by crime over $5000
All individuals were held in custody for a Bail Hearing and were subsequently released by the courts with future court dates.
