About Saugeen Shores Police Service
The Saugeen Shores Police Service serves an area covering the amalgamated communities of Port Elgin, Southampton and Saugeen Township. The service area covers over 170 square kilometers with a mix of urban and rural communities. Saugeen Shores is an area of natural beauty situated on the coast of Lake Huron and dissected by the mighty Saugeen River.
The service has 26 full-time sworn officers, five support service staff, one full time Special Constable in addition to two part-time Special Constables.
